Loadmastering Services

We offer a range of loadmastering services from:

• prior to berthing - undertake calculations for the allocation of weightometer error

• at berthing

  • attend any pre-loading meetings with Master/duty officer etc

  • discuss with vessel any requests for amendments to assist with reductions of delays whilst at berth

  • clarify trimming limitations and requirements

  • reconfirm departure draft, and 

  • visibly confirm holds are clean prior to loading

• during loading ​

  • assist with communication between terminal, customers, agents and Master​​

  • if not required for entire loading, attend vessel as required by customer/Master

  • as a minimum, attend the vessel during the pass prior to intermediate draft survey to perform a running draft check to minimise down-time required in undertaking the intermediate draft check

• final trimming​

  • assist Master and terminal with trimming, draft surveys and calculation of tonnage required for correct trimming​

  • ensure vessel draft and load sequence tonnages are not exceeded

• reporting of loading discrepancies​

  • weigher issues associated with the draft survey​

  • changes in cargo loading quantities due to sailing draft
